• Hunting for the correct transmission breakdown (usually the hardest item to find) 

• Identifying and listing individual part numbers from the breakdown 

• Contacting several sources for individual parts pricing and availability 

• Placing various orders and assigning multiple P.O. numbers which in turn creates numerous product and freight invoices that need to be tracked 

• Receiving multiple part shipments that will probably arrive on different days

• Collecting and submitting paperwork so you can pay for and bill out all associated parts and labor charges

These kits were originally developed by Joseph Industries to fill a critical need in the marketplace or they are enhanced versions of existing OEM kits that we have used and evaluated in our own remanufacturing process. These evaluations allow us to add necessary crucial parts and/or remove parts that usually aren�t needed, thus saving you money. All aftermarket parts must pass a rigorous engineering inspection process and will meet or exceed all OEM specifications. 

 A �user friendly� feature of our transmission overhaul kits is that each complete overhaul kit is made up of component �sub kits� (for example: gasket & seal, clutch, control valve, small parts, etc.) that are individually packaged and designed for ease of identification and use.  This feature is beneficial when circumstances call for a quick transmission �once-over� that finds the need for a partial rebuild of the transmission such as the control valve, clutch pack, etc.  For those instances, we can usually quote the needed individual �sub kit� necessary to complete the desired work.

Finally, to complete your rebuilding efforts, we can usually supply the proper remanufactured torque converter and transmission pump necessary for your transmission if it is not included in the transmission overhaul kit.

Tech Tip - When installing a transmission that is equipped with electrical solenoids (Electric Shift) it is important to insure the electrical connections and ground cables to the chassis are clean, tight and not frayed. A poor ground will cause the solenoids to malfunction and prematurely fail.
